Unfortunately, because of the number of submissions we get every year, we cannot offer any extensions for any submissions

You can submit to present in several categories – the Education Research Symposium, the Educaiton Innovation Symposium, pre-conference workshops, oral presentations, poster presentations or workshops. The CCME 2019 Abstract Submissions is now open. 

Online registration for exhibit booths and personnel begins December.

You can register online starting January 2021.

All workshops, oral presentations and poster presentations are included in your registration fee, as well as all major sessions. All workshops, oral presentations and poster presentations are first come, first served, and do not require you to sign up in advance.

A poster presentation, or facilitated poster session, is when the authors of the posters  present their findings. They are in groups, divided by theme, of up to 12 presenters. These group sessions last for 90 minutes, and are facilitated by a volunteer . Each presentations lasts for 5 minutes, with 2-3 minutes for questions after. Once a presentation is finished, you move on to the next poster in that grouping.

An oral presentation is a group of up to 6 individual presenters that have been grouped together based on theme and or topic. Each presenter has 10 minutes to present, and 5 minutes for questions.

A workshop is a 90 minute presentation by 1 group of people on 1 topic.

Your fee includes all Workshops, oral presentations, poster presentations, major sessions, breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and any open meetings. If you are going to be eating breakfast, lunch, or snacks provided by the conference, please indicate this on your registration form.

The full conference schedule will be released online in March.

Business casual attire, with layers (it may be chilly or warm inside one of the presentations), and comfortable shoes.

The theme for CCME 2021 is Making Waves: Exploring the Waters of Medical Education
While workshops, oral presentations and poster presentations fall under the general themes.

We are happy to welcome our international colleagues and other partners including students, other health educators, health education researchers, administrators, liscensing and credentialing organizations and governments, to come and share their experiences in medical educaiton across the learning continuum (from undergraduate to postgraduate to continuing professional development)

CCME provides an opportunity for medical educators to share their ideas, learn, and network with others in their field.

A Certificate of Participation will be sent to you at the conclusion of the conference.
